Live Music Gig Venues In Ilminster

Ilminster in Somerset has pubs as the focus of its live music scene but it also has the Meeting House as a venue mostly for classical, folk and jazz music as well as Dillington House just a couple of miles away.

At last Ilminster has regular gigs in happening in the Royal Oak and the Crown Inn. Chard just 5 miles away perhaps has a little more music but

The Warehouse Theatre on Brewery Lane also acts as a performance venue for classical musicians from time to time.

THE CROWN INN (01460 52782) on the West Street has occasional live music and karaoke. Expect local tribute acts and cover bands when the music is on.
THE DOLPHIN (01460 57904) is on Silver Street next to the church. Like the Crown Inn it has occasional music although nothing regular as far as we know.
THE ROYAL OAK (01460 53366) is on The Cross, Ditton Street. It has regular live music and karaoke nights each month. They seem to have a wide variety of acts each month so give them a try.
THE MEETING HOUSE (01460 57783) is a converted Unitarian church on East Street and hosts regular recitals from classical, jazz and folk performers as well as arts based workshops by day and night. They have a cafe and host regular art exhibitions.
