Live Music Gig Venues In Lyme Regis

We all know Lyme Regis as a nice town by the sea side. Famous for the Cobb Harbour, fossils and having been the location featured in the film The French Lieutenant's Woman but it also has a vibrant arts community with an artists' workshop and several live music venues.

Th centre for much of the local performing arts is the Marine Theatre which probably deserves a whole page on this site.

THE COBB ARMS (01297 443242) is, as its name suggests, right next to the Cobb and harbour area. It's always a busy food pub in the summer (as well as a B&B) but they have music from time to time as well.
THE NAGS HEAD (01297 442312) on Silver Street is probably the busiest pub for live gigs in Lyme Regis. They feature everything from Sunday afternoon duos to full on Saturday night rock music.
THE MARINE THEATRE (01297 442394) is a fantastic old theatre venue right on the edge of the sea. Each month there are plays, events and live music. The theatre is supported by a dedicated group of 'Friends'.

Live Music Venues in Villages Near Lyme Regis

Within a few miles of Lyme there are a few villages, which have pubs or village halls that have live music. If you would like your venue listed then please get in touch.

THE GEORGE INN (01297 489419) at Chideock is on the coast road (A35) between Lyme Regis and Bridport. Food and Palmers ales are waiting for you with the possibility of some live music.
